I was assigned to the publicity department for the 2010 first year production at uni. This is the poster which myself, my publicity partner and our director came up with.
The Oresteia is a post-Trojan War play in which Agamemnon returns from Troy, only to be killed by his wife Clytemnestra in revenge for sacrificing their daughter to the gods ten years ago so the fleet of Argos would have wind for their sails. Agamemnon is then avenged by his son Orestes, who is in turn pursued by the Furies who intend to avenge Clytemnestra (because after all this slaughter, there is nobody left in her family who will do it for them!).
